Corrections

This is the mail we most want. If a rule here is wrong or out of date, send the page URL and a link to the official source that says otherwise. That is enough for us to fix it and re-date the page. You do not need to write anything else.

Rules change constantly and we cannot re-check every state every week, so a correction from someone who just got turned away at a trailhead is genuinely valuable.

Everything else

Gear we should look at, a state we have not covered, advertising, or press: same address. We answer what we can.

We cannot tell you whether a specific spot is legal tonight. We do not have information the land manager does not have, and the answer changes faster than we could reply. Call the district office. Their number is on the source we cite.
